How Long Does It Take for a Baby Dino to Mature in Ark

you can do this in the safty of your base you dont need to go out and risk anything, stop whining. It wasnt meant to be easy and be a hand out.

Super pets that go above and beyond the natural 120 spawn should take work, if you dont want to put it in go play single player.

I don't see the problem, just skip school/work for a day and sit in front of your computer spam-clicking the whole time. It's fun and it's totally worth it because then you get to have a strong dino in a videogame.

(PS: I'm not serious)

Take work?? I have tamed over 10 120 rex's on PVP server and that has been fine. So I have put way more effort in than most. And more than you I would guess. This is a stupid system. So please take your comments elsewhere.

People like you must have no life, no job and no friends who can sit here for 30 hours. Majoirity of us can't do that :).

it could be done in the safety of ones base BUT you still need to go out and get food, if you have a feed trough all you gotta do is leave food in it. Make sure there is plenty, sadly when it gets to 10% if will stop eating from the trough and you have to hand feed it.

Not a lot of people are going to spend 15-20+ hours baby sitting a Dino, if you take your eyes off the baby for a few mintes to get something to eat, do something important in real life or shower the baby can die. You'll be lucky if you're in a tribe, this way each can take turns but if you're alone then you're screwed.

Have you gotten your baby dinos yet?? are they matured enough??? how long has it taken you to do it??

What did it has to do with safty of base or outside? 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours are 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours! It´s to long. Of course a lvl 50 raptor baby should take longer to grow up than to tame a wild lvl 50 once...but not that much. This is sick. You have enought time to spent to hatch the egg. Don´t tell me about building a circle of AC´s and put the egg in the middle. Testet it out, it don´t work in any location. There are some where it works and some where not. And you have to be with the egg when it hatches to claim the cute little *****. If it takes 50% longer than to tame wild ones with same level to grow up the baby it would be ok but that way its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

This is an international tribe check by the devs. Don't have a player from every time zone in your tribe? No babies for you because you don't support world peace!

yeah the dev's didn't think this one through on any end, however they meant >10% (under 10%) <10% is over 10% under 10% maturity it has to be hand fed, sadly because of these stupid ♥♥♥♥ ups on the dev's behalf during a server restart 18 baby dinos were lost,
tbh you're better off playing a private server with 400x+ maturation (cuts maturation down to aprox..14 hours) compared to 40+ it would take..(this is on a dilo so yeah enjoy that)

Damn! such hardcore fanboy!
I can tame like 4 t-rexes in one day with kibble, no problems at all, they reach lvl 200 with some work other day, and yeah... 4 of them , while here people stare at ♥♥♥♥♥ egg, becouse it might die in seconds, and after that collect over 5.000 raw meat just for 5% in three hours... Sure ^^

If it were my turn, I would kill the baby and say a glitch happen and actually use MY free time to PLAY the game. No one would ever know,

This could be why I'm not in a tribe. Maybe?

Tsk tsk tsk...

you dont have to hand feed after 10%- you have to hand feed the first 10%. HOWEVER it still takes ages and a ton of meat. As in a TON. My rex takes 40 meat a minute and lvls 0.2 health per 1.5 seconds. Ok I am on a modded server but it seems to me that while the hatch time was fixed, the mature time has not. Because if this is 80% faster... then RIP. Not really worth it right now.

at 450x maturation speed it's still insanely slow, better off running modded with max level 200 wild dinos :x

Dont worry, one of the devs did it 6 times alone apparently. Everything is working fine. Apparently that was fun!

takes 1.2k meat per 30 mins for a 206 Rex (again modded server). As it stands right now with the max wild being 180, its not worth taming on the server I am on. I do think on lower servers it might be cool but you have to be hella prepared and best to also make the baby follow another dino that is passive so it doesnt roam away from the feeding troughs once it can use them
